ENTRIES CLOSED
for kids aged 6 to 16

11:30am to 3:00pm
This is a themed, rated tournament in which each game must start with 1.d4
DIVISIONS
Subject to sufficient entries, there will be separate divisions by age group or rating.
PRIZES
Due to the move to online because of the Covid-19 crisis, although we will still award prizes,
Trophies and medals will be presented in person at a special end of year presentation meeting after the crisis.
FORMAT
This tournament will be Tornelo rated.
Every one plays 5 rounds of 15 mins + 5 sec per move, per player (around 40 minutes per round)
ENTRY FEE
Regular Online Entry Fee : $ 15
(Member discount $3 off / Sibling discount $2 off per sibling)
WHEN
Date : 2nd May 2020
Time : 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
(short lunch break after round 3)
VENUE
This tournament will be played ONLINE.
Links will be emailed to you and posted on website on the day of the tournament.
Please go to the link 10 minutes earlier for check in. Start time 11.30 am
Players will be required to play on a tablet, laptop or desktop PC with webcam, microphone and speakers.
NOTE: YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE AN EXISTING ACCOUNT ON TORNELO OR CREATE ONE SO THAT YOU CAN LOGIN. ALL PLAYERS MUST BE LOGGED IN TO TORNELO TO BE ABLE TO PLAY GAMES.
